Primarily teachers an 8 day course on guitar making. Eric teachs a class every month with just 2 students to a class and each student builds a roughly "OM" sized acoustic flattop guitar. Also maintains a website for online instruction with blog entries on all things related to acoustic stringed instrument making.

Acoustic Guitar Workshop

This is an 8 day course where you will build your very own flattop acoustic guitar out of exotic tonewoods, from start to finish!

The course is taught with only 2 students under the direct supervision of Master Luthier Eric Schaefer, so you can expect individualized attention on your guitar.

All parts and materials are included. No experience necessary. At the end of the week you will have your own handcrafted guitar, the skills to build more guitars, and a deep sense of pride in your work.
